Mark Attila Opauszky is a Canadian technology entrepreneur and executive with over 25 years of experience building companies that solve difficult problems at scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout his career Mark has founded and led multiple Canadian companies that achieved global success, delivering innovative solutions to enterprise clients across regulated and non-regulated industries. His approach consistently combines rigorous engineering, data-centric design and \u2014 more recently \u2014 advanced machine learning and AI to build products that work where it counts: in complex, large-scale enterprise environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the founder and CEO of BPS Inc. Mark created one of the top-ranked global compliance software platforms, used by institutions like Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. As CEO of PathFactory he introduced the first AI-powered content platform for global B2B marketing teams, earning industry-wide recognition and growing an award-winning business servicing global enterprise brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today Mark serves as CEO of Sparrow BioAcoustics, where he’s spearheading the introduction of groundbreaking tools for detecting cardiac and pulmonary disease at the population level. With its smartphone-based platform, Sparrow is delivering clinically validated, AI-driven disease detection directly into the hands of everyday people \u2014 earning the trust of leading hospitals, researchers and patients alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark’s career is defined by a focus on high-impact solutions that scale \u2014 where complexity, regulation and real-world demands aren’t barriers, but invitations to build something better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past two decades he has served on multiple boards and advised growth-stage businesses across the tech, media and entertainment sectors. His board experience spans roles as chairman, independent director and executive director, including participation on governance and strategy sub-committees. Mark also mentors CEOs and emerging tech leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A survivor of a near-fatal battle with acute septic shock in 1999, Mark is a multiple amputee who regularly speaks and writes on patient advocacy, early disease detection and adaptive living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
